CONCEPT:
Labyrinth made goods is an organization focused on providing opportunities for previously incarcerated women. At Labyrinth, they see value and dignity within every woman’s unique life story. It is important that within their branding, the journey of these women is displayed in a dignified and empowering manner. This can be seen directly in the use of labyrinth lines used throughout the design. These lines symbolize the twist and turns the women have faced throughout their life, but also embody the forward moving trajectory they are experiencing while working with Labyrinth.  The names of the candle scents themselves also highlight the journey of these women. Each word was chosen in specific relation to the different phases that the women have been through and also correlate to the seasonal phases of the weather as well.  The choice of black and white colors and narrow sans serif typography further emphasizes that despite what their journeys looked like, the women at Labyrinth are dignified and stand tall in the face of adversity.
